The Eterna Matic, was the the landmark accomplishment of the brand, introduced in 1948 with a game changing ball-bearing mounted rotor powering its self-winding movement. Five balls became the trademark logo Eterna used on the face of its timepieces. This ball-bearing auto-wind system is widely used even today.
This Eterna Matic has the 1415U Brevete Calibre the serial and model number which accurately dates the watch to 1957
